[Investigating] Our systems identified degraded network performance affecting some parts of our platform in Amsterdam, Tokyo and London. Clients utilizing affected services may experience slowness with their network connections and higher than usual latency. The issue is actively being investigated and the connectivity should be back to normal soon.

[Investigating] Our systems identified network connectivity issues affecting one of our hypervisors on our NYC IaaS Cloud Platform. The issue is actively being investigated and the connectivity should be back to normal soon. Clients utilizing affected services may experience service unavailability or degraded performance until the issue is resolved. Customer Support has been briefed and is prepared to handle inquiries and provide updates to affected users.

[Resolved] The affected VPS'es were started and all services are back to normal.

Description

Dear Customer, On Saturday February 17th, 2024 we will be carrying out maintenance on some physical nodes in location NYC. During this time we will be required to reboot VPS and an email has been sent to the affected customers. The maintenance window is between 08:00 UTC and 12:00 UTC. We will be installing important updates to our physical servers and will reboot when complete. Your VPS is expected to be down < 1 hour sometime during the maintenance window.  Once the maintenance window has been completed we will send a completion notice and you may login to your VPS and restart any of the services that you require. Special instructions for our forex trading customers: It may be advisable to close any open trades before close of markets on Friday, especially if you are not sure whether your EA's or other automated trading applications will resume control of open positions after being restarted. Please consider saving chart configurations when you close your MetaTrader applications, and set up profiles to ensure that your EA's will relaunch with your predefined settings correctly. Also, we have provided a "Startup Adder" application to properly relaunch your MT4/MT5 applications. Our support staff are happy to assist with setting that up if you would like.

[Investigating] At approximately 16:10UTC on February 12, 2024, an unexpected hardware failure was detected in one of our servers in London. The failure has resulted in a complete service outage for the existing VPS'es. Current Status: We finished the investigation and found the issue. We are working to restore the services, ETA will be around 60 minutes. Customer Impact: Customers utilizing affected services may experience service unavailability or degraded performance until the issue is resolved. Customer Support has been briefed and is prepared to handle inquiries and provide updates to affected users.
